Support Worker
Our client, located in a beautiful rural setting in North Devon, is offering a peaceful and homely environment for the people they support. The service consists of four cottages set around a courtyard, with surrounding fields and woodlands that provide safe and enjoyable outdoor space.
The environment has been thoughtfully designed to ensure safety, comfort, and independence. This home provides a well-established, person-centred service delivered by a dedicated and compassionate team.
Our client prides themselves in offering a personalised approach, supporting individuals with daily living, activities, dietary needs, and ensuring cultural and faith needs are fully respected and met.
Location: EX36 Postcode Area
Pay: £12.80 per hour
Payment: Paid weekly every Friday (PAYE)
We are currently recruiting experienced and reliable Support Workers to join our team in the EX36 area. This is an excellent opportunity to work flexible day and night shifts while supporting individuals to live independently and safely within their community.
Role Overview
As a Support Worker, you will provide person-centred care and support, assisting with daily living tasks, promoting independence, and ensuring the safety and wellbeing of clients. You will be expected to work both independently and as part of a wider care team.

Essential Requirements
All candidates MUST hold valid, in-date certificates for the following mandatory training:
- Emergency First Aid at Work
- Emergency Life Support
- Equality & Diversity
- Food Hygiene Level 1
- Fire Safety
- Health and Safety
- Infection Control
- Information Governance
- Mental Capacity Act
- Moving and Handling (Theory & Practical)
- Safeguarding Adults Level 2
- Lone Worker Training
- Medication Administration (Theory)
- Experience in Support Work (required)
Client-Specific Skills
- Previous experience working in a Support Work / Care environment
- Confidence working as a lone worker
- Understanding of safe medication administration procedures
- Drivers Only
