General Assistant
My client, an independent supported living house in Cambridge is seeking for a General Assistant.
This is a Temporary role starting April 20th- May 15th 2026.
The role:
- Support independent living
- Provide high quality catering services including preparing and serving food and drinks. In line with health, safety and hygiene requirements that meets the service user and organisational requirements.
- Provide high quality cleaning services including housekeeping duties within the services user’s home including all communal and private areas.
- Build and maintain a constructive relationship with service users
- Monitor stock levels and report when supplies are low and reorder avoiding waste to ensure cost effective continuity of services
- Use and store materials and equipment in accordance with health and safety requirements and relevant regulations to ensure a safe living and working environment.
- Identify and report any hazards or faults to the line manager.
You must:
- Deliver high standards of customer service at all times
- Have a good understanding of health and safety
- Have an in date DBS covering the adult workforce- we can assist with this at a fee of £65.
Hours:
- Monday to Friday- including Bank holidays.
- 8am- 4.45pm
Rate:
- £12.71ph.
- Enhanced rates for Bank holidays.
We pay weekly, every Friday plus holiday.
