Why Temporary Work?
Temporary staff are often an integral part of many organisations’ staffing requirements across the UK, with many businesses looking for a flexible workforce to provide additional support at key times, for example with projects, peaks and increase in business, or for holiday or sickness cover.
Temporary assignments can range from a few days, to a few months, or even longer. Benefits of temporary work include:
- the ability to have control over your work life - choosing if, when and where you would like to work and also for how long
- the opportunity to work for a wide variety of companies and industries allowing you to increase your experience
- the chance to increase your skills and even develop new ones
- time to reach a decision on what direction you wish to take your career, whilst in paid work
All of our temporary staff are paid on a weekly basis. Temporary work may also in some instances lead to a permanent role. Many employers will consider offering a temporary worker a permanent position if they have demonstrated their skills and abilities. Indeed, some companies use this method to source all their permanent employees - this is often referred to as 'temporary to permanent'.
